The teenager full beginner kite course is based on the adult lesson plan of IKO. The steps are the same but with exercises developed for young students.
The student is passing in this course different levels following the steps as they are defined by the standards of the International Kiteboard Organization (IKO). We teach how to fly and control the kite on land. If the junior feels comfortable, we can enter the water. No worries the instructor is always with the student.
Program:
- Flying a small trainerkite on the beach
- Set up of a tube kite and lines
- SAFETY ALWAYS FIRST! - the instructions
- Flying the kite on the beach
- Walking with the kite and board on the beach
- Bodydragging with the instructor
- Powerstroke, Water Relaunch & Self Rescue
- Waterstart
The course also includes:
- IKO certified instructor
- Lessonplan specialized for teenager between 12-17 years
- All gear (kite, harness, helmet, flotation vest, board)
